Come to Proctors for great stories At every Story Circle show, superb performers tell rarely heard contemporary and traditional stories about being human. You will find that these shows are shared experiences between the audience and the performer, combining the intensity of a one-person play with the intimacy of a one-on-one conversation. Word Plays is our Saturday night series in The Gallery. Open Mic happens the first Wednesday of the month in Robb Alley. Art Night Schenectady and Story Circle join forces January and March of 2008, also in Robb Alley. On January 16, 2008, Proctors CEO Philip Morris said, "We believe that the association between Proctors and Story Circle represents the first resident storytelling company at a performing arts center in the US. Story Circle is an established presence in the community, and has offered over 100 performances in our area during the last twelve years. We look forward to hosting their shows."
