Come to Proctors for great stories
At every Story Circle show, superb
performers tell rarely heard contemporary
and traditional stories about being human.
You will find that these shows are shared
experiences between the audience and the performer, combining the intensity of a one-person play with the intimacy of a one-on-one conversation.
Word Plays is our Sunday afternoon series in The Fenimore Gallery.
Story by Story is our weekly TV show, shown: Sunday nights at 8:30 and Tuesday afternoons at 1:00
on Schenectady Public Access TV, Channel 16; first Thursday of the month at 1:30 p.m. on Time Warner Cable Public Access Channel 18.
Tellabration is our yearly benefit performance
for local area storytelling, last held on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2008, 2-4 p.m.
in The GE Theatre.
On January 16, 2008, Proctors CEO Philip Morris said, "We believe that the association between Proctors and Story Circle represents one of the first resident storytelling companies at a performing arts center in the US. Story Circle is an established presence in the community, and has offered over 100 performances in our area during the last twelve years. We look forward to hosting their shows."
Be among the first in the Capital Region to enjoy storytelling for adults at Proctors.
