Dan Testo began telling stories in 1976 at Oneonta State University in a Children’s Literature class. He is a math teacher at Amsterdam High School and practices his stories in class and in Remedial Reading classes. He has told stories at Brown School, Scotia and Amsterdam schools, and in Italy on an exchange program. He tells stories around the campfire at YMCA and Boy Scout camps. Other performances have been at Readathons, for church groups, at Union College, and a series of programs for the Schenectady County Public Library system.

Audiences: PreK, K - 6th grade, Family, Adult.

Programs: Humorous, Folk, and Tall Tales; Ghost Tales; Native American Stories.
