At every Story Circle show, superb performers tell rarely heard contemporary and traditional stories celebrating the human spirit. You will find that these shows are shared experiences between the audience and the performer, combining the intensity of a solo performance with the intimacy of a face-to-face conversation. Over 3,800 people have enjoyed our shows at Proctors. You can too. Word Plays is our Sunday afternoon series retuning to Proctors on January 30, 2022! . Word Plays in the Cabaret in Salem is on hiatus due to COVID-19. Tellabration is our yearly benefit performance for local area storytelling, is cancelled due to COVID-19. Story by Story is our monthly public access TV show, is on hiatus due to COVID-19. You can watch many of our performers tell stories here. Recently Proctors CEO Philip Morris said, "People who appreciate theatre are pleased that storytelling is part of our offerings at Proctors. After all, storytelling is the one of the original performing art. Since we began our partnership with Story Circle, 3,800 people have enjoyed storytelling performances here."
