Once a month from 7:00-9:00 p.m., storytellers, musicians and spoken word artists have an open mic, to try their voices for the first time, to hone their skills in front of a live responsive audience, to work on their presentation, or to try new ideas in a supportive atmosphere. For others, itís a cheap night of entertainment. No reservations are necessary or taken. The organizer and MC for this storytelling open mic is Alden (Joe) Doolittle.
Doors open for sign up at 6:45 p.m. There is a 10-minute limit on performance length. The MC will weave the evening together and there will be no feedback.
Freewill donation for the featured performer.

As you may have heard, Arthurís has been sold, and will be undergoing renovations from
February 1st through most of the spring. The new owner plans a venue similar to the
current one so Iím hopeful that by September, First Tuesdayís will be back in new familiar
In the meantime, Iím looking for alternatives in downtown Schenectady and will keep you apprized.
